## Client Testimonials
“Rome LLP represented my defense for a complicated corporate legal matter which started in Federal court and ended in arbitration. The case lasted three years with total dismissal of all claims and reimbursement of expenses. Eugene and his team are very competent attorneys as well as they are very caring and wonderful people. I recommend them wholeheartedly.”

“It is quite simple. When it comes to attorneys you get what you pay for. Litigation is stressful. It affects your family. It affects the families of those in your organization. You think about it every moment of every day (and night). The worst thing you could possibly do if you find yourself needing an attorney is to hire a bad one. Eugene and Brad are not only the excellent attorneys, they are excellent human beings. They stood up to greed and corruption for us. They fought corrupt, lying, stealing, cheating billionaires for us. In our darkest times over the last 3 years they fought like lions to protect our interests and save our companies; save our families. It took me a while to write this review because it is really hard to put into words just how grateful, and just how thankful, I am on behalf of myself, and the dozens of families Eugene and Brad protected. They came up with a plan and executed it flawlessly. It was a masterclass. The other side of this fight was out of their league every step of the way. In the end they got clobbered. Eugene and his team won us a Unanimous Verdict and punitive damages, totalling over 16 million dollars. Again, I am so very thankful.
I would never go into a fight in the payments industry without these guys and their team. Never. If you are smart neither would you.”
— Brandon LaBonty
“I am an experienced personal injury lawyer and I hired Sridavi Ganesan to handle a personal injury matter involving my son. She is literally the attorney that other attorneys would rely on when they are in need of representation. She is an exceptional advocate and a brilliant strategist and trial attorney. She aggressively pushed all aspects of the litigation to achieve a result that we were very pleased with. I highly recommend Sridavi Ganesan and Rome LLP for their high-caliber work and the personal attention they give to the matters they pursue!”
— Arti Bhimani
“We hired Eugene three years ago to fight for us when we were wronged by people who thought they could steal our livelihood and we couldn’t fight back.
There are lots of fancy lawyers with fancy degrees and fancy offices — I should know, I’m one of them.
But when someone drags me into a legal knife fight, trying every dirty trick they can think of, I call Eugene. And he wins decisively. So should you.”

Rome LLP Wins $16.2 Million Jury Verdict for Specialty Payments in ISO Residuals Dispute
In 2025, Rome LLP won a $16.2 million jury verdict on behalf of Specialty Payments in a high-stakes dispute over ISO residual commissions and interference with agent agreements. Rome LLP founder Eugene Rome and co-counsel Christopher Schwegmann proved that Paynetworx LLC and merchant defendants ERI Brands LLC, Rocket Systems Inc., Elisabeth R. Imhoff, and Jared J. Davis (collectively, the “ERI Defendants”) conspired to unlawfully cut Specialty out of its earned commissions on more than $297 million in processing volume. The jury awarded $7.385 million against the ERI Defendants for tortious interference, and $723,684.43 against Paynetworx for civil theft, plus attorneys’ fees. Rome LLP Secures Pre-Trial Settlement for Minor Client in Fraud Case Against Medical Group
Rome LLP secured a multi-million dollar pre-trial settlement on behalf of a minor plaintiff for claims of negligence, fraudulent concealment, and unlawful business practices against a medical group. Attorney Sridavi Ganesan doggedly pursued the case against the medical group for failing to adhere to standard protocols for the diagnosis and treatment of the minor plaintiff’s medical condition by concealing the diagnosis from the minor, ultimately resulting in the minor undergoing the drastic measure of immediate and painful surgery due to the delay in treatment. Ms. Ganesan pursued a full range of damages, including compensation for pain and suffering, medical expenses, and punitive damages. Ms. Ganesan secured the settlement on behalf of her client less than one month before trial.

Rome LLP Secures Class Action Victory on Behalf of Merchants Assessed Hidden Chargeback Fees
In Print Your Plaques, the merchants were assessed an Enhanced Chargeback Fee buried deep in the merchant agreement. While appearing to be a monthly charge, the subject fee was assessed on a “per transaction” basis, leading to substantial amounts being debited from merchant accounts. Rome LLP commenced a class action against Choice and Esquire Bank on behalf of a client who was charged in this manner. Following months of litigation, Rome LLP is pleased to report that the case has been settled in full.
